Social Media Content Editor & Video Creator (Remote – Part-Time)

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable video editor to join our content production team. You’ll be editing both short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos (YouTube, interviews, podcast clips) for a growing creative brand based in Los Angeles.

This role is ideal for someone with strong instincts for flow, rhythm, and storytelling — someone who can take raw footage and shape it into visually compelling, on-trend content that holds attention from the first second to the last.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Editing short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) based on scripts and footage
• Editing long-form content (YouTube videos, podcast episodes, interviews)
• Creating smooth transitions, high-retention hooks, and dynamic pacing
• Adding overlays, subtitles, audio, and trending visual effects
• Exporting and organizing content into structured Google Drive folders
• Working in Notion to track tasks, assignments, and feedback
• Staying current with editing trends and social media formats

What You’ll Need
• Strong experience editing both short-form and long-form video content
• Understanding of pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling
• Ability to edit in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar
• Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools
• Fluent English and attention to tone, clarity, and timing
• Organized, self-directed, and able to follow instructions precisely
• Bonus: experience editing content for creative or personal brands

• CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva
• Notion (task tracking, script storage, feedback)
• Google Drive (file delivery and asset management)

Hours & Compensation
• 15–20 hours/week to start
• Flexible hours, but some overlap with PST preferred
• Pay: $5.50–$6.50 USD/hour, based on experience
• Biweekly pay via Wise or PayPal
• Stable, long-term role with opportunity to grow into full-time
