JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Operations Associate (VA) to support our mortgage team in streamlining backend processes and ensuring accurate and timely handling of loan files, documentation, and client follow-ups. The ideal candidate has a strong administrative background, preferably in financial or mortgage operations, and is comfortable working in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist loan officers and processors in managing client files and documentation
Review and verify borrower documents for completeness and accuracy
Input and update loan information in CRM and loan origination systems (LOS)
Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding documents or signatures
Liaise with third-party vendors (e.g., appraisers, title companies)
Prepare and organize documentation for underwriting and closing
Respond to emails and administrative requests in a timely manner
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with industry regulations
Generate reports or trackers as requested by team leads

Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in mortgage, financial services, or admin VA role
Familiarity with loan processing and document review
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
High attention to detail and ability to multitask under tight deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
