Construction Estimator

We are a US-based construction company looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimator to join our remote team. This is a full-time, opportunity for someone with proven experience preparing estimates and takeoffs for a general constructor, including plumbing, and electrical.

What You’ll Do
• Prepare accurate estimates using hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual methods.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and organize cost data.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify pricing.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and project schedules.
• Support the estimating team with special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and terminology.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and a multi-monitor setup.

Tools You’ll Use
• Procore
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Estimating software (experience preferred)

Work Schedule
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Must be available during US Mountain Time
