Job Opening: Remote Home Care Coordinator
Company: Wheatland Health Community Care (WHCC)
Location: Remote (Davao City applicants only)
Work Schedule: U.S. Business Hours (Eastern Time)
Wheatland Health Community Care (WHCC) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Home Care Coordinator to support our growing home health agency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple administrative and operational tasks critical to our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Scheduling & Coordination
? Manage and maintain caregiver schedules, ensuring proper coverage for all clients.
? Handle shift adjustments, cancellations, and last-minute changes.
? Communicate with caregivers and clients regarding scheduling updates.
2. New Client Onboarding & Intake
? Process new client inquiries and complete intake procedures.
? Verify client eligibility and gather required documentation.
? Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
3. Caregiver Onboarding & Compliance
? Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and credentialing new caregivers.
? Ensure caregiver files are complete (licenses, certifications, background checks).
? Monitor caregiver compliance and follow up on missing or expired documents.
4. SOP Creation & Process Optimization
? Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
? Implement efficient administrative workflows for improved operations.
5. Timekeeping & Compliance
? Ensure proper use of the time-tracking system by clients and caregivers.
? Address discrepancies and follow up as needed.
6. Communication & Support
? Answer incoming calls and respond to
? Provide excellent customer service to clients, caregivers, and referral partners.
? Assist with concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
7. Billing & Insurance Coordination (Preferred but not required)
? Track and verify service hours for billing purposes.
? Support claims processing and insurance verification tasks.
Qualifications:
???? Previous experience in home health, healthcare administration, or virtual assistance is preferred.
???? Strong knowledge of scheduling, onboarding, and compliance in home health.
???? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and scheduling/EMR software (experience with SWyftOps is a plus).
???? Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
????? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
???? Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
???? Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time hours is required.
