We are a small but growing team of creatives who are passionate about cinematic storytelling. As our client base expands, we are operating at full capacity and need a talented editor and storyteller to join us, help us meet our deadlines, and grow with our agency. We're looking for a key player to become a foundational part of our post-production team.

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to take ownership of our social media video content. More than just an editor, we're looking for a creative partner who is passionate about storytelling and can transform raw footage into compelling narratives that stop the scroll.

Your primary focus will be on quick-turnaround social media projects, freeing up our internal team to focus on other projects. You will be a senior voice in our post-production process, and for the right candidate, this role has the potential to expand into larger projects, such as podcast editing and feature brand stories.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead editor for all social media video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn videos, YouTube Shorts).
- Develop edits from raw footage to final delivery, including assembly, pacing, captions, graphics, sound design, and colour grading.
- Work collaboratively with our founders to receive direction and creative briefs, while also bringing your own creative ideas to the table.
- Master the Grapefruit Creative editing style to ensure a consistent, high-quality, and cinematic look across all content.
- Manage project files and timelines effectively using Notion, Google Drive, and ---------- .
- Incorporate client and internal feedback efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the team via Google Chat, Loom, Notion, and video calls.

Skills & Experience (The "You"):
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, with a portfolio that showcases strong storytelling and experience with fast-paced social media content for brands.
- **Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.**
- A sophisticated eye for cinematic colour correction and grading.
- Demonstrated ability to tell a compelling story, even in a short format.
- **Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.**
- Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection is required for transferring large video files.
- Your own reliable computer.
Highly Preferred:
- Basic proficiency in Adobe After Effects for simple text and graphic animations.
- Experience editing with footage from a variety of professional cinema cameras (RAW footage).
- Prior experience working successfully in a remote, international team structure.
