JOB OVERVIEW

An insurance lead generator position involves identifying and securing potential clients for insurance products. This involves generating leads through various methods like working existing leads, cold calling, networking, or online advertising, and then working with them to qualify them as potential customers. The goal is to bring a steady stream of prospects into the sales pipeline, ultimately increasing sales.

The first 60 days of your role will be focused on new agent onboarding and data-entry because we are moving customers to our new agency management system (AgencyZoom to Hawksoft).

Requirements & Core Job Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Proactive problem-solver who can work independently and think on your feet
• Comfortable working full-time during U.S. Eastern Time (EST) hours
• Previous experience working as a Lead Generator, preferred but not required
• A basic understanding of different insurance types is essential for effectively qualifying leads and guiding prospects.
• Lead generators need to be persistent in reaching out to prospects and possess strong sales techniques to encourage them to consider insurance products.
• Effective communication is crucial for building rapport with prospects and understanding their needs.
• Managing a large volume of leads requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintaining and updating lead information within a CRM system to track progress and ensure proper follow-up.
• Responding to inquiries, answering questions, and scheduling appointments for sales representatives.
• General customer service duties as presented and perform other duties as assigned
• Professional and courteous demeanor

System and carrier experience preferred but not required:
• CMS: Hawksoft, AgencyZoom
• Raters: EZlynx
• Productivity & Communication Tools: Microsoft Teams, Outlook Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Zoom
