Youtube vlog editor

Hi! I’m looking for a creative, trend-savvy YouTube video editor to join my team full-time and help bring my vlogs and lifestyle content to life. I post 1–2 high-quality videos per week, and I’m looking for someone who can match (and elevate) my vibe with clean, modern, aesthetic edits that resonate with Gen Z and millennial viewers.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Editing lifestyle vlog-style videos (roughly 10–20 minutes each) from raw footage, 1–2x per week

Crafting engaging intros/hooks and maintaining a strong storytelling flow

Adding relevant music, sound effects, transitions, b-roll, and captions when needed

Keeping up with and applying current editing trends (jump cuts, ---------- inserts, zooms, etc.)

Creating eye-catching YouTube thumbnails that get clicks and reflect the aesthetic

Organizing and naming project files for easy handoff/revision

You’re a Great Fit If You:
Have 2+ years of editing experience (YouTube experience preferred)

Know your way around Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro

Have a strong eye for aesthetic visuals, pacing, and vibe

Are fluent in TikTok/YouTube culture and up to date on what’s trending

Are detail-oriented, creative, and open to feedback

Can meet weekly deadlines and communicate clearly

Bonus if you have graphic design experience for thumbnail creation!

Software & Skills:
Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve

Photoshop or Canva (for thumbnails)

Google Drive / Dropbox

Optional but great: After Effects, Lightroom
