SEO Expert Wanted (UK Hours)

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced SEO specialist who knows exactly how to improve organic search rankings and drive more traffic through smart, data-led strategies and fix SEO issues. This is a remote freelance or part-time role with flexible hours, but we are only looking for someone who is confident in their skills and knowledge and can demonstrate real results.

You must be fully experienced with key SEO tools and platforms, including SEMrush, and ideally have worked with Hotjar or similar tools that help track user behaviour and improve site experience. We need someone who doesn’t need hand-holding and can take the lead.

Key responsibilities:

Audit our current website SEO and identify clear opportunities for improvement
Optimise content, pages, meta titles, tags, and technical elements to boost rankings
Track performance, keywords, and backlinks using SEMrush and Google Search Console
Use insights from Hotjar or similar tools to improve user engagement and conversion
Provide monthly reports and take ownership of performance-based SEO improvements
Work alongside our content and tech team to implement your recommendations

What we’re looking for:

Proven SEO experience with real, measurable results
Strong knowledge of technical SEO, keyword research, and both on-page and off-page strategy
Fully confident with tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, Hotjar, etc.
Analytical, proactive and able to take initiative without waiting for instructions
Clear communicator and someone we can trust to just get on with it
