The Situation
Our CEO built a $3M house cleaning company but has zero organizational systems. Decisions happen in Slack calls and get forgotten. Critical follow-ups exist only in his head until they disappear. Leadership team gets direction but no follow-through.
Result: A capable leader bottlenecked by his own memory.
Your Job
Be his external brain. Turn conversation chaos into execution systems.
You'll capture verbal decisions, chase down deliverables from leadership, build tracking systems from scratch, and eventually make routine calls on his behalf. Think less "schedule meetings" and more "ensure nothing dies in conversation limbo."
Timeline to Operations Leadership
Month 1: Stop the bleeding - critical decisions get captured
Month 3: Leadership respects your follow-up authority
Month 6: Making routine decisions independently
Month 12: Ready for Director of Operations promotion
You're Perfect If
You get energized fixing other people's chaos. You speak up when things aren't working. You build systems instinctively. You want operational influence, not just administrative tasks. You see "CEO with terrible memory" as an exciting challenge, not a red flag.
You're Wrong If
You need structured processes to exist before you arrive. You wait for permission to communicate with senior people. You get frustrated easily. You want a traditional EA role with clear boundaries.
Why This Accelerates Your Career
Direct operations impact: Your systems determine company execution quality
CEO mentorship: Daily coaching from someone obsessed with team development
Real business exposure: See how multi-million dollar decisions actually get made
Fast promotion track: 12-month path to senior operations role
Startup experience: Add "scaling systems" experience to your resume
Our Culture in 10 Words
Direct communication. Fix problems immediately. Results over process. No corporate BS.
The Bottom Line
Most EAs support organized executives. We need someone who creates organization for an executive who admits he has none.
