Social Media Editor

I’m looking for a highly skilled Virtual Assistant (VA) with expertise in video editing and social media content creation to help take my online presence to the next level.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes content, has a sharp editing eye, and understands how to create scroll-stopping videos and graphics that drive real engagement.

???? Your Responsibilities:
Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
Create engaging carousels, still image posts, and social media graphics
Add captions, motion graphics, text overlays, and sound effects to boost watch time
Repurpose content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Stay on top of social media trends to maximize content impact
Follow and evolve my branding and content style

? Requirements:
Proven experience in social media video editing (please include 2–3 samples)
Ability to edit in a fast-paced, high-retention style
Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content best practices
Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and follow brand voice
Clear communicator who brings ideas and feedback to the table

Experience using AI tools for editing or repurposing content
Skills in caption writing and post descriptions
Understanding of analytics or social media marketing strategy

Rate: Open to discussion based on your skill set
Hours: 8-10 hrs/week to start (with potential for more)
