Strategic Operations & Growth Manager (Construction – Remote)

???? Your Role
You’ll act as the architect and engine of our next phase of growth. This is not a maintenance role. You’ll help build structure, lead initiatives, and guide expansion, including:

Creating a high-output estimating department

Implementing tools and processes to identify high-margin jobs

Avoiding low-profit bids through data-driven systems

Supporting our entry into full roadway construction

You’ll work directly with the President (Joany Gutierrez) to transform vision into structured execution across departments.

????? Key Responsibilities
Build, lead, and manage an estimating department capable of producing 10+ bids per week.

Implement smart systems to evaluate and filter projects for profit and niche alignment.

Overhaul operations using ERP tools and automation (e.g., ERPNext, Drive, dashboards).

Develop SOPs and process flows across departments (estimating, admin, field).

Support hiring, onboarding, and training for key support roles.

Translate expansion plans (e.g., roadway building services) into executable projects.

Work closely with project managers, procurement, and accounting to align field and office operations.

? Ideal Candidate Profile
5+ years experience in business operations, project execution, or growth leadership in construction, infrastructure, or industrial engineering roles.

Background in Industrial Engineering, Business Systems, Operations Management, or related field.

Strong experience implementing scalable processes and building systems from scratch.

Understanding of construction bidding, estimating cycles, and public works is a plus.

Excellent leadership and communication skills—can manage people and ideas.

Proficient in tools like Google Workspace, ERP platforms, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and task management systems.

Analytical, organized, self-managed, and obsessed with results.

Fully available during U.S. Eastern Time working hours.
