BAM Concrete Coatings is a fast-growing home improvement company operating across multiple locations in Wisconsin and Texas, USA. We specialize in high-end concrete floor coatings for both residential and commercial projects. As we expand, we’re looking for a talented Virtual Accountant based in the Philippines to join our remote team and take charge of financial management for our multi-location business.
Job Description
As our Virtual Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining organized digital records. This role requires deep expertise in QuickBooks Online, a strong grasp of GAAP standards, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date and accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Generate monthly financial reports and job cost summaries
Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks
Organize and maintain digital financial documents
Ensure compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP)
Use CRM tools like Builder Prime (preferred)
Communicate regularly with the US-based management team
Requirements
* Based in the Philippines
* 5+ years of accounting experience (US-based preferred)
* Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online
* Strong understanding of GAAP accounting
* Tech-savvy and able to learn new tools quickly
* Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
* CPA preferred but not required
* Experience in home improvement or construction accounting is a BIG plus
* Familiarity with Builder Prime is a bonus
* Reliable internet connection with backup solution
