Outreach & Research Assistant (Speaking Gigs + Podcast Guest Booking)

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a resourceful and organized Outreach & Research Assistant to help grow the visibility of a U.S.-based financial planner by booking speaking engagements and podcast guests. If you love digging for opportunities, crafting great outreach messages, and know how to get responses—this is for you.
You will help us reach the right people at professional associations, community groups, podcasts, and event planners. You’ll also manage guest outreach for our YouTube show, helping to line up professionals in the therapy, law, finance, and romantic relationship space.

???? Responsibilities:
• Research professional associations, conferences, local community events, and podcasts that align with financial wellness, mental health, relationships, and small business topics.
• Maintain an organized list of leads and opportunities in a Google Sheet.
• Draft, personalize, and send outreach emails using pre-approved templates (you will have access to our email/social media accounts).
• Follow up with potential hosts or organizations to confirm speaking or guest spots.
• Track responses, manage outreach logs, and flag high-priority contacts.
• Suggest and document improvements to outreach templates and processes.

• Strong English communication skills (especially written)
• Great research ability—comfortable navigating websites, LinkedIn, podcasts, and event sites
• Proven experience in outreach, lead generation, or appointment setting
• Knows how to write professional yet engaging email copy
• Able to tailor messages based on tone, brand, and audience
• Highly organized and detail-oriented—must keep accurate records
• Experience with Google Sheets, Gmail, social media platforms
• BONUS: Familiarity with online marketing, YouTube, and podcast booking

• Work Hours: Flexible (you set your hours but must meet weekly goals)
• Workload: Part-time, with potential for full-time if successful
• Payment Method: EasyPay preferred (can discuss alternatives like PayPal)
• Payment Schedule: Weekly during onboarding; bi-weekly after
• ID Proof Required: Minimum ID Proof of 70
• Starting Rate: Based on experience – include your rate in application
• Probation: 1-month trial to assess research ability, professionalism, and responsiveness
