JS Products is hiring a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will work under the Director of Enterprise Applications. Based on the project priority, and timing,?the Software Engineer will build and support applications necessary for business operations at JS Products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Nginx), Docker containers / framework , PHP Laravel framework, Bootstrap, Handlebars

Create applications/functionality using APIs for various ecommerce Marketplaces, tools. (Amazon, Ebay, Shopify, Walmart.com, etc. JSON, XML, PHP MySQL)

Understanding of API authentication methodologies

Ability to maintain, debug, and improve current PHP code.

Assist in the planning, design, and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.

Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems

4-7 years experience programming with the following: PHP, Laravel, Bootstrap, Handlebars, Linux, shell scripting, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Github,

Experience with API integrations, JSON, XML, GraphQL

Critical thinking, problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail

Ability to learn quickly and work independently

Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills

Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week).
