Finance Research Report Writing

Working with a boutique asset management and corporate advisory firm based in Melbourne, Australia.

We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong english proficiency to collaborate with our investment analyst to produce research reports for a range of ASX listed companies.

The following qualifications/skills would be preferable:

Core Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or related field (Distinction or above).
Strong English proficiency (oral and written).
CFA, CPA, or postgraduate qualifications in related fields (preferred but not required).

Technical & Research Skills:
Proficient in Excel (financial modelling, valuations).
Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis.
Experience writing long-form investment research reports (please provide samples from candidates if possible).
Experienced researcher capable of sourcing critical information from ASX company announcements and other credible sources (referenced Harvard style).
Familiarity with valuation methods: DCF, comparables etc.
Knowledge of equity markets, ideally ASX-listed companies.
Proficient in Canva to create aesthetically pleasing reports.

Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and critical thinking.
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Works independently and takes feedback well.
