Virtual customer service representative
ABSOLUT Pest Control, located in the Boston, Massachusetts area, is looking for a proactive virtual customer service representative with strong communication skills to join our growing team.
As one of the first points of contact for current and prospective pest control customers, you’ll play an integral role in shaping their experience with our company, making you a highly valued member of our team. Your responsibilities include answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, educating customers about our services, scheduling pest control appointments, managing leads and online inquiries with timely follow-ups, collecting payments and entering customer data into our CRM system.
You’ll also support our outreach efforts by reconnecting with canceled accounts, upselling additional services to existing customers and reaching out to leads from provided lists. This role is the perfect blend of customer service and light sales and gives you the chance to make a direct impact while earning commission on any new business you bring in.

Responsibilities at a glance
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
Educate customers about pest control services and plans
Schedule appointments
Follow up on inbound leads and online inquiries in a timely manner
Collect payments and ensure accurate data entry in the CRM system
Reconnect with canceled accounts to explore reactivation opportunities
Upsell additional services to current customers when appropriate
Reach out to provided lead lists to generate new business
Maintain a positive, helpful attitude that supports customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements
Available to work Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. EST
Previous customer service experience preferred
Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
Familiarity with CRM tools
Be highly organized with strict attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Be a proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
