Back to Self is a growing YouTube channel and coaching brand for women healing from toxic relationships, narcissistic abuse, and emotional burnout. We empower women to reclaim their identity, trust themselves again, and live authentically.

Our videos are emotionally resonant, honest, and gently educational — not flashy or overproduced. The tone is warm, clean, soulful, and feminine.

Looking for a YouTube-savvy VA who can edit 2–4 videos per month and manage core aspects of YouTube growth and channel optimization. You’ll work directly with the founder to shape the channel’s visual and strategic identity.

Responsibilities:
Video Editing

Edit 8–15 minute YouTube videos (intro, cuts, captions, transitions, text overlays)
Ensure a polished but simple look aligned with the brand’s style
Repurpose longform content into 30–60 sec Shorts/Reels when requested
Channel Growth & Optimization

Upload and schedule videos with SEO-friendly titles, tags, descriptions, and thumbnails
Add captions, end screens, cards, and calls to action
Track video analytics and suggest improvements (click-through rates, drop-off, retention)
Create/update playlists to improve navigation and viewer retention
Optional (Bonus Skills)

Create thumbnails in Canva
Help manage a basic YouTube content calendar
Suggest trending topics or high-performing video formats in the niche
Must-Haves:
Experience editing YouTube videos (portfolio required)
Familiarity with YouTube SEO (keywords, tags, thumbnails)
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Can work independently and meet light deadlines
Emotionally intelligent — understands sensitive content around healing and trauma
Preferred Tools:
CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Descript
Canva for thumbnails
