We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Website & E-commerce Coordinator to manage and maintain our online presence. This role will primarily focus on keeping our Wix website current, and ensuring effective database management and communication through Constant Contact. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of digital platforms and a passion for creating engaging online experiences. Job may evolve.
Responsibilities:
Wix Website Management:
Regularly update website content (text, images, videos) to reflect current promotions, news, and offerings.
Add new pages, sections, and functionalities as needed, ensuring a consistent brand aesthetic and user-friendly experience.
Optimize website for mobile responsiveness and loading speed.
Perform routine website audits to identify and fix broken links, outdated information, or design inconsistencies.
Implement basic SEO best practices within the Wix platform.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and design requirements.
Constant Contact Database Management &
Maintain and segment customer databases within Constant Contact, ensuring data accuracy and cleanliness.

A Place for Peanut, Inc. is a non-profit horse rescue and therapy organization. Their mission is multifaceted, focusing on:
Rescue and Rehabilitation: To rescue and provide rehabilitation for unwanted horses, miniature horses, and donkeys, especially those abandoned or discovered by local authorities and those rescued from the "slaughter pipeline" (kill pens).
Rehoming: To nurture these rescued equines back to health, preparing them for rehoming into loving and permanent homes.
Education: To educate the public about the plight of unwanted horses, particularly the horrors of kill pens and the grim fate awaiting many animals.
Equine Therapy: To bring joy and healing to children, veterans in hospitals, and others in special programs using equine therapy with their rescued horses.
