Digital Marketing Manager | Local SEO In Australia

SEO Copilot is an Australian local SEO company, established in 2012. The majority of our clients provide local services such as plumbers and electricians. Our team are based both locally in Australia and in the Phillipines, working remotely.

We’re now looking for an experienced creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to support our client campaigns. The right applicant will excel at communication to nurture client relationships and have the marketing skills to build their brands and leads.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Task Management
- Read and action incoming client emails (discuss tasks with tea ---------- mbers, follow up)
- Draft friendly but professional email updates for clients about activity and results
- Collaborate with other tea ---------- mbers to ensure timely delivery

Linkbuilding
- Backlink outreach (targeted guest posts, niche edits)
- Blog commenting and forum posting
- Local SEO Citations

Social Media Marketing
- Schedule and post new content across multiple social platforms
- Build a following and engagement using strategic social marketing

GMB/GBP Management
- Create and schedule Google Business Profile (GMB) posts
- Optimise GMB profiles (categories, services, photos, keywords, etc.)

Content Creation & Optimisation
- Update outdated website content to add content gaps, expertise, internal linking reflect current offerings and increase ranking.
- Create, curate and optimise images for websites, and social content
- Use tools like InVideo to help produce short videos for websites
- AI assisted content creation

Ideal Candidate
You might be the perfect fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing
- Are familiar with GMB/GBP, Ahrefs, Search Console, Canva, and AI writing tools
- Know how to turn client emails into clear action steps
- Are a proactive communicator with strong attention to detail
- Enjoy juggling multiple projects, clients, and content workflows
- Have solid written English skills and a sharp eye for clean formatting
- Previously worked with Australian clients
- Comfortable working with Wordpress (basic publishing, image uploads, meta data)
