Estimation Assistant

I am in need of an Estimation Assistant for a roofing business.

The Estimation Assistant will support the team in preparing reports on roofing and exterior assessments. This role involves analyzing inspection images, identifying and describing specific roofing issues, and compiling comprehensive, solution-oriented reports for the clients. The Estimation Assistant will play a vital role in enabling clients to understand the current state of their properties and make educated repair decisions.

Training will include tutorials and templates to familiarize you with roofing assessment processes, report formats, and software tools.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating comprehensive roof and exterior assessment reports, providing clients with clear insights on necessary repairs.
• Prepare repair and replacement options, detailing various solutions available to clients.
• Use machine learning tools such as Roboflow to annotate inspection photos and identify roofing issues for inclusion in reports.
• Use company pricing modules to support with costing repair and replacement scopes and creating bids.
• Use powerpoint templates to compile reports, incorporating photos and detailed descriptions of roof conditions.
• Support field teams by creating clear, actionable reports based on inspection findings.
• Identify and recommend process efficiencies to streamline report preparation and improve workflow.
• Support with project management and implementation, including communicating with field teams, create post-inspection repair reports and documentation, and manage other project related administration.
• Support with managing company CRM and other tracking tools.

Qualifications:
• Background in roofing, construction, or design is highly preferred but not required.
• Must be proficient in reporting using Microsoft PowerPoint and PDF tools.
• Must be quick to learn new software.
• Must possess strong written and verbal English communication skills for effective report creation and email correspondence.
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent problem solving skills.
• Must be willing to work full-time during US Mountain business hours.
