COMPANY OVERVIEW:
We are a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving at-risk populations, including unhoused individuals, aging-out foster youth, and veterans. Our mission is to restore hope and dignity through stable housing, faith-based programs, and community development. We are growing quickly and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help us identify and apply for grants to fund our life-changing work.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Virtual Assistant to support our grant research and application process. You’ll work directly with our leadership team to locate relevant funding opportunities, organize deadlines, prepare documentation, and assist with submissions.
This role is ideal for someone with strong English communication skills, basic nonprofit or grant-writing experience (preferred but not required), and a self-starter mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research relevant local, state, federal, and private grant opportunities
Track eligibility criteria and deadlines using spreadsheets or task management tools
Help draft application answers using our templates and past applications
Compile supporting documentation (budgets, project summaries, letters, etc.)
Monitor submitted applications and follow up on status or next steps
Maintain an organized grants calendar and document archive
Provide administrative support as needed to improve our grant readiness

QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Familiarity with grant research tools or databases (a plus but not required)
Experience with nonprofits, fundraising, or project coordination (preferred)
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable
Willing to work U.S. hours (at least 4 hours overlap)

HOURS & COMPENSATION:
Part-time: 10–20 hours per week to start
Opportunity to grow into a full-time role
Pay starts at $5–7/hour USD, depending on experience
Bonuses for successful grant awards and long-term commitment
