Junior Architect

We're looking for a talented Junior Architect with a strong eye for design and a working knowledge of California’s residential building codes. In this role, you'll support the design and documentation of high-quality Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) across California, from schematic design through construction documents.

What You’ll Do:

Draft and develop ADU plans tailored to a range of architectural styles and site conditions

Prepare permit-ready drawing sets in compliance with California Residential Code (CRC), Title 24, and local zoning ordinances

Collaborate with senior designers, consultants, and permitting staff to refine and optimize layouts

Support multiple projects at once, maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field

1–3 years of experience in residential design (ADU experience is a plus)

Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)

Familiarity with California Residential Code and basic planning/zoning standards

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Bonus Points:

Experience with permitting in the City of Los Angeles or other California jurisdictions
