Virtual Assistant Needed for Scrap Metal Recycling Business (Lead Generation + Customer Service)

Description:
I’m looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Virtual Assistant to help me grow and manage my mobile scrap metal recycling business in California. I need someone who can work independently and help generate leads, respond to customer messages, schedule pickups, and post on local platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.

Tasks Include:
• Finding homeowners, businesses, and contractors who may have scrap metal
• Posting service ads on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and other sites
• Responding to customer messages and scheduling pickups
• Managing Google Sheets for leads and appointments
• Sending reminders to pickup team
• Weekly reporting

Requirements:
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Great communication and organization
• Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and online research
• Familiar with Craigslist, Facebook, Yelp, or similar platforms
• Availability 10–20 hours/week with flexibility

Bonus if you have:
• Past experience with lead generation or customer service
• Familiarity with small business or recycling industry
