Online Math Tutor

MDM Tutoring is a startup education service based in Melbourne, dedicated to helping students gain confidence and results in a supportive, personalised way. We offer online tutoring in a range of subjects with a strong focus on Maths.

We’re looking for passionate and reliable Online Math Tutors to join our team to help students thrive through engaging 1:1 sessions.

? What You’ll Do
Tutor students online in Maths (Years 7–12), with a focus on understanding and confidence.
Tailor each session to the student's learning style and school curriculum.
Use tools like Zoom, Google Docs, and whiteboards to make learning interactive.
Communicate clearly with students (and parents where needed).
Track progress and provide brief reports to our admin team after each session.

???? What We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge in Maths (required: Year 12 level, preferred: Specialist or Methods).
Extremely proficient in English communication skills and a calm, friendly approach.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience (formal or informal).
Reliable internet, webcam, and a quiet workspace.

IMPORTANT: Successful candidates MUST provide:
Background Clearance:
- NBI Clearance** (National Bureau of Investigation) – valid and up to date
- Barangay Clearance** – from current place of residence
- Police Clearance** (optional but recommended)
- Government-issued ID** (e.g., Passport, UMID, Driver’s License)

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled in a relevant course)
- Teaching license or certification (if applicable)
