Local SEO Specialist

MDM Cleaning is a startup, locally owned carpet cleaning company committed to providing top-tier services to homes and businesses. We’re expanding our digital reach and need an experienced Local SEO expert to help us dominate search rankings in our service areas.

Responsibilities:
Optimize Google Business Profile (GBP) for multiple service areas
Perform local keyword research and implement SEO strategies
Optimize on-page SEO across website content and service pages
Generate and manage backlinks through local directories and partnerships
Track, report, and improve local SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console and Analytics
Support content creation (e.g., blog topics, meta descriptions, internal linking)

Requirements:
Proven experience in local SEO, particularly for service-based businesses
Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile, local citations, and keyword research
Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:
Experience with WordPress
Knowledge of carpet or home service industries
Graphic design skills for basic SEO-friendly visuals
