Website Designer & Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled, innovative, and detail-oriented Website Designer & Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and continuously enhancing a visually stunning, high-performing, and brand-consistent website experience. This position requires deep technical proficiency in both front-end and back-end web development, advanced visual design sensibility, and a relentless focus on performance, responsiveness, user experience, and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Website Design & Development:
Lead the creation and maintenance of a visually sophisticated and user-centric website, using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Translate branding and business objectives into modern, elegant, and intuitive digital interfaces.

High-End Visual Design:
Implement pixel-perfect, luxury-grade design aesthetics that reflect premium branding. Integrate animations, transitions, and interactive elements that elevate user engagement without compromising performance.

Custom Development & Coding:
Build custom themes, plugins, and site features tailored to specific functionality requirements. Demonstrate fluency in writing clean, scalable, and secure code across front-end and back-end layers.

Responsive Design & Cross-Device Optimization:
Ensure seamless functionality and visual consistency across all devices and browsers through adaptive/responsive design and rigorous testing.

Animation & Interactive Elements:
Design and implement fluid, high-quality animations and micro-interactions using CSS, JavaScript, or WebGL to enhance user experience and storytelling.

Speed & Performance Optimization:
Optimize page load speed, Core Web Vitals, server response time, image compression, lazy loading, and script management for superior site performance.

Ongoing Maintenance & Continuous Improvement:
Monitor the site for bugs, broken links, outdated content, and UX issues. Apply real-time analytics and user behavior insights to iteratively enhance design, structure, and content.

SEO-Friendly Development:
Ensure clean code structure, semantic markup, and technical SEO best practices to improve crawlability, indexing, and organic visibility.

Security & Compliance:
Implement security protocols, regular backups, and updates to prevent vulnerabilities. Stay compliant with GDPR and other relevant web standards.

Integration & API Development:
Connect third-party tools and systems via secure APIs, including CRMs, analytics tools, marketing platforms, and payment gateways.

Collaboration with Creative & Marketing Teams:
Work closely with branding, content, and marketing teams to implement designs that support campaign goals and business growth.

Documentation & Best Practices:
Maintain detailed documentation of codebases, design systems, and deployment processes to support scalability and team onboarding.

Qualifications & Required Skills:
Proven Experience in high-end website design and development, with a strong portfolio of custom-built, performance-optimized, and visually striking websites.
Expertise in WordPress including custom theme and plugin development, advanced configuration, and site architecture.
Fluency in Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript, GSAP, WebGL, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).
Proficiency in Back-End Development: PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and WordPress backend customization.
Advanced Animation Techniques using JavaScript (e.g., GSAP), CSS animations, or frameworks such as Lottie.
Strong Knowledge of SEO Principles including schema markup, meta structure, and accessibility standards.
Mastery of Website Speed Optimization Tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse).
Experience with Hosting Environments, CDN setup, DNS, and site migration.
Familiarity with Design Tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Sketch for translating mockups into interactive designs.
Comfortable with Git Version Control, staging environments, and modern development workflows.
Analytical Thinking with a data-driven approach to UI/UX improvement and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
Strong Communication & Project Management Skills to collaborate across teams and manage timelines effectively.
Up-to-Date Knowledge of design and development trends, emerging frameworks, and best practices in web performance and UX.
