About Cloud Nine:
Cloud Nine is a purpose-driven apparel brand rooted in comfort, calm, and thoughtful design. Our signature hoodies feature discreet built-in stress relief elements—have gained strong traction among neurodivergent individuals and those seeking everyday sensory-friendly wear.

What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking a designer who understands the apparel industry inside and out—someone who stays ahead of trend forecasts, knows how to develop thoughtful and functional pieces, and can translate creative direction into production-ready deliverables.

The ideal designer will be able to take full ownership of the development cycle, from seasonal vision and trend forecasting to sizing, styling, and tech pack creation, with an eye for detail, comfort, and premium simplicity.

Basically I am looking for someone who can help innovate on our products. because we are sensory based, thinking of different additions we can do to the hoodies, really looking at our reviews, our audience seeing where we can innovate more.

and the second aspect would be actually designing you collections. so for example different hoodies we can launch. Below is what I imagine that could potentially look like:

Seasonal Direction & Planning:
Conduct trend forecasting and market research
Create mood boards and color stories
Develop product line planning based on brand positioning
Product Styling & Design:


IMPORTANT: Since we are more sensory based, see what that looks like, Perhaps no tags, maybe more sensory related items included in the hoodie.
Design minimalist hoodies, zipup ect for adults and kids
Finalize colorways, trims, materials, and detailing
Ensure products remain comfortable, wearable, and premium-looking


Technical Development:
Create detailed tech packs for each design
Determine appropriate sizing and grading for both adult and kids lines
Lead sample review process and provide feedback for fit and construction adjustments


Collaboration:
Communicate closely on design choices, adjustments, and sampling timelines
Work with our founder and team to ensure final products align with Cloud Nine’s brand identity and vision

You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have strong experience fashion
Are skilled in tech pack creation and fit analysis
Understand how to make simple look elevated
Are detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and self-sufficient
Are passionate about creating clothing that does more than just look good—it feels good, too
