???? About the Role:
I run a fitness membership business focused on strength training for women over 30. I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to help me with two main things each week:
1. Edit simple exercise demo videos for my YouTube channel (short clips with text overlays).
2. Edit my weekly podcast (30–60 minutes) recorded on Riverside.fm (once I begin recording episodes again-this is a future project)
You don’t need to be fancy — just clean, consistent, and dependable!
???? Responsibilities:
Trim and edit exercise demo videos (I'll provide raw footage + text coaching cues)
Add simple text overlays (e.g., cue: “Engage your core here”)
Upload finished exercise demos to YouTube with appropriate titles, descriptions, and tags
Edit weekly podcast episode (clean up audio, remove major pauses or errors, add intro/outro)
Export final podcast and upload to podcast host (currently using Podcasters.Spotify to host)
???? Ideal Skills & Experience:
Proficient in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
Basic audio cleanup for podcast episodes
Experience with YouTube uploads (basic SEO is a bonus!)
Familiar with Riverside.fm and Podcasters.Spotify or willing to learn quickly
Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with file naming and delivery
Excellent communicator and independent worker
???? Who You Are:
A reliable video editor who communicates well and meets deadlines
Quick and efficient without sacrificing quality
Comfortable working with short-form and long-form video content
Has a good internet connection and can manage cloud file transfers
???? How to Apply:
Please send the following:
A short intro about you and your editing experience
Samples or a portfolio of past work (especially YouTube videos or podcasts)
Your preferred editing tools
Your expected hourly rate or weekly rate
(Optional but encouraged) A short video introducing yourself
An inspirational quote that brings you joy!
