Senior Web Front-End Engineer (remote)

X Plus Z is a Vancouver based company that specializes is custom software development and services. We help major game developers and publishers to achieve their business goals using the most modern technological solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer.

You need to have strong knowledge of the modern Front-End technologies. You will be working remotely in professional environment, fast-paced project, and communicating with members of distributed team.

REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3-4 years of Front End development experience
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, React, Flux, ES6, Node.js, NPM, jQuery, HTML/CSS, CSS preprocessors and responsive design
- Knowledge of browser specifics
- Good communication skills, fluent English
- Comfortable with the Unix command lines
- Experience with a revision control tools, ideally from the command line: such as svn, git, p4
- Self directed; able to own your work and not be spoon fed
- Can work remotely from home

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build complex web-applications
- Communicate with team members and clients regarding the project requirements, priorities and progress
- Support and improve the existing tools and services
- Make sure the code quality is good and improving

NICE TO HAVES
- Angular experience
- React-native experience
- Experience of working with distributed teams
- Understanding of and willingness to work according to agile manifesto spirit
- Familiarity with video games industry and gamers community
- Diploma in C.S., Comp. Eng., or equivalent
