JOB OVERVIEW

Are You an Organized, Self-Motivated Marketing Pro Who Loves Getting Things Done?
We're on the hunt for a remote Marketing Coordinator (contractor) who’s detail-oriented, loves juggling multiple projects, and can keep a marketing operation humming smoothly. If you’re a task-driven marketing professional who thrives on structure, execution, and seeing your work make a difference—you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

About Expert Computer Solutions (ECS)
We’re a growing IT managed service provider (MSP) that helps small and mid-sized businesses get their technology in order. Our focus is on building long-term relationships through professionalism, integrity, and results-driven solutions. We’re headquartered in Houston, Texas, but this role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere.

The Role: Marketing Coordinator (Remote Contractor)
We need someone highly organized and action-oriented to support our Head of Sales & Marketing in keeping our marketing engine running. You won’t be creating high-level strategy, but you will be executing campaigns, keeping our CRM database squeaky clean, creating and publishing content, and analyzing performance metrics to inform smarter marketing decisions.
This is not a purely creative role. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys structured tasks, collaborating with a team of freelancers, and directly contributing to company growth through clear, measurable work.

Key Responsibilities
Your mission is to keep our marketing systems running like a well-oiled machine. Day-to-day, that includes:
•CRM Management: Maintain data integrity, scrub contact records, and ensure our email lists are clean and segmented properly
•Social Media Management: Schedule and coordinate content creation, schedule posts, and track performance across LinkedIn and other platforms
???Email Marketing Support: Help build and maintain nurture sequences and outbound campaigns (think: newsletters, lead follow-ups, and promotions)
•Content Creation & Repurposing: Write or format blog posts, LinkedIn updates, and snippets for social media using provided materials and guidance
•Website Content Creation: Assist with writing and publishing case studies, blog posts, and lead magnets to our WordPress site
•Sales Collateral Production: Help format and finalize decks, flyers, and other client-facing materials (you don’t need to design from scratch)
•Campaign Coordination: Manage timelines and tasks for direct mail, digital campaigns, and outreach efforts
•Analytics & Reporting: Pull key stats on campaign engagement, lead activity, and CRM performance to help shape future marketing efforts

What We’re Looking For (Required)
•2+ years of real-world marketing experience (not just internships or coursework)
•Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks
•Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
•Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, email platforms, and Google Analytics
•Excellent written communication skills
•Basic comfort with CMS platforms like WordPress
•A dependable remote worker with consistent availability and a strong work ethic
•Responsive, responsible, and proactive—you ask questions early and take initiative
•Experience working with B2B businesses or MSPs
•Able to work 8 hours between 7am – 4pm CST / 8pm – 5am PHST

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
•Light familiarity with Canva, Google Drive, or project management tools like Asana/Trello
•Prior contractor or freelance experience with remote teams

Who You’ll Work With
You’ll report directly to our Head of Sales & Marketing and coordinate with a remote team of freelancers. You’ll be an essential part of a small, fast-moving team with room to grow and expand your role over time based on performance and interest.

Who This Role Isn’t For
•Someone seeking a strategy-heavy role or creative director-type position
•Someone who dislikes admin-style tasks or data upkeep
•Someone who struggles to self-manage in a remote setting
•Someone who’s overwhelmed easily by fast-paced, multi-tasking environments

What You’ll Gain
•Exposure to the entire B2B marketing ecosystem—from CRM to content to sales enablement
•Mentorship from seasoned marketing and sales leaders
•A flexible remote schedule
•A role where your work is immediately visible and appreciated

How to Apply
If this sounds like you:
•Send your resume and a brief cover letter
•Tell us about a real marketing project you helped complete and what your role was
•Include 2-3 lines on why you’ll thrive in a detail-heavy, execution-first marketing role
•Preferably the name and contact information for two professional references

Let’s Do Great Work Together
We’re not looking for a unicorn. We’re looking for a smart, reliable marketing professional who can get things done, adapt to feedback, and grow with us. If you’re ready to jump in and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
