About Us
Trent Law Firm is a global legal practice supporting teams in the United States and the Philippines. As we expand our operations and implement AI-driven legal technology, we are seeking a Virtual IT Specialist to join our growing IT department. This role is critical in supporting secure file management, maintaining digital infrastructure, and helping integrate advanced technologies across our international legal teams.

What You'll Do
As a Virtual IT Specialist, you will collaborate with our global IT team to manage digital workflows, enhance data security, and support AI implementation. You’ll play a key role in maintaining efficient and secure systems that enable our legal professionals to work seamlessly across borders.

Key Responsibilities
• Organize and maintain secure digital file systems across US and PH legal teams
• Manage user access, permissions, and data protection policies
• Assist in the integration and support of AI tools into firm workflows
• Monitor and address cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with IT leadership on improving infrastructure, tools, and protocols
• Provide responsive tech support and training to non-technical staff
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and industry standards in both jurisdictions
• Maintain documentation of systems, security protocols, and standard procedures

Qualifications
• Experience as an IT support specialist, system admin, or cybersecurity analyst
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, etc.)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and best practices (firewalls, endpoint protection, access control)
• Exposure to or interest in AI technologies and automation tools
• Ability to support remote teams across time zones
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting legal, compliance, or professional services teams
• Certifications in cybersecurity or cloud services (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, AWS)
• Understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, local PH/US regulations)
• Familiarity with AI applications in business or law
