Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer who combines technical expertise with design sensibility to create exceptional web experiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed professional who can interpret project requirements efficiently and deliver high-quality, performance-optimized websites.

Key Responsibilities

-Design and develop custom WordPress websites from scratch
-Build responsive websites following modern best practices
-Create custom functionalities and features based on project requirements
-Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals and overall performance
-Handle website maintenance, updates, and ongoing support
-Manage hosting setup and domain configuration
-Work with page builders like Elementor when project requirements dictate
-Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
-Be available from 8am-5pm PST for any client support requests

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Requirements

-Front-end Development: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
-WordPress Expertise: Ability to build custom WordPress themes and sites from the ground up
-Performance Optimization: Deep understanding of Core Web Vitals and proven ability to improve site performance
-Custom Development: Experience creating bespoke functionalities and custom solutions
-Responsive Design: Mastery of mobile-first design and responsive web development best practices

Additional Technical Skills

-Back-end Development: Experience with server-side technologies (PHP, databases) is a strong plus
-Hosting & Domains: Understanding of web hosting, DNS management, and domain setup
-Page Builders: Familiarity with Elementor and similar tools when needed for specific projects
