Virtual Travel Support Assistant – Remote Concierge for Travelers

Description:
We’re launching a growing business that provides curated starter kits and live support for international travelers. We're looking for a smart, organized, and dependable Virtual Assistant to help customers remotely with things like housing help, SIM card setup, app recommendations, and more.

You’ll use clear SOPs and tools (we’ll train you!) to guide customers and offer excellent service. If you enjoy researching, helping people, and solving small tech/travel problems, this is for you!

Responsibilities:

-Help customers install and activate SIM cards, apps, VPNs, etc.
-Source short-term or long-term housing via Airbnb, Booking, Facebook groups, etc.
-Send curated Google Sheets with links, prices, and notes
-Use WhatsApp, Zoom, or chat to guide customers (not cold calling!)
-Assist with scheduling 3-way calls with interpreters (we provide the contacts)
-Follow SOPs to deliver consistent, helpful support
-Update our support database with customer questions & answers

Requirements:

-Excellent written and spoken English
-Reliable internet connection and good communication
-Able to follow SOPs and checklists carefully
-Strong online research skills (Google, travel platforms)
-Familiar with WhatsApp, Zoom, Gmail, Google Docs & Sheets
-Friendly, patient, and professional

Bonus if you have:

Previous VA, travel agent, or concierge experience
Knowledge of Airbnb, Agoda, or Booking.com
Experience supporting expats, nomads, or remote workers

Starting rate: $4–$6/hour depending on experience
Flexible, part-time/gig work to start (~5–10 hours/week)
