JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a growing Australian tech company looking for a smart, reliable technical support assistant to manage hosting environments, respond to system alerts, and help keep mission-critical services online for clients across training, education, and other key industries.

This isn’t a typical helpdesk or VA role. You’ll be working with real servers, alerts, and systems—with direct mentorship and the opportunity to grow into automation, DevOps, or client-facing technical delivery.

? What You’ll Do:
• Respond to uptime alerts, monitor logs, and resolve basic system issues
• Manage cPanel-style hosting accounts, email configs, DNS, and SSL
• SSH into servers to restart services, check logs, or run scripts
• Refresh staging environments, run cron jobs, and support backup integrity
• Document fixes, flag recurring issues, and improve internal SOPs
• Create quick Loom recordings to explain work or report issues

?

???? Who You Are:
• Solid English and communication skills—you explain clearly and follow through
• Familiar with Linux hosting, cPanel-style tools, PHP/WordPress stack
• Able to SSH into servers and poke around with confidence (even if still learning)
• Curious, methodical, and not afraid to own a problem until it’s fixed

?

???? Bonus Points For:
• MySQL, DNS records, SSL management
• Using UptimeRobot, BetterUptime, or similar tools
• Experience with n8n, Docker, or scripting
• Previous exposure to automation or DevOps tools

?

???? Offer & Path:
• Start at ?40,000/month for your trial/onboarding period (up to 90 days)
• Move to ?55,000–?60,000/month based on quality, speed, and reliability
• Full-time, remote, long-term role—no juggling clients
• Clear weekly expectations, checklists, and feedback to help you win

?

???? How to Apply:
1. Send your CV
2. Record a Loom video (2–3 min) introducing yourself and:
• Walk through your hosting or server experience
• Describe one technical issue you solved and how
3. Use subject: Server Support – [Your Name]

?

???? Final Note:

If you’ve ever thought “just give me the chance and I’ll prove myself”—this is that chance.
We’re not looking for perfection, but for someone hungry, technical, and ready to grow.
