Full-Cycle Accountant (Remote – Canada-based Company)

We are hiring a dependable and detail-driven Full-Cycle Accountant to manage core accounting functions and financial reporting across our Canadian operations. This is a key role supporting daily accuracy, monthly close processes, and profitability insight — all within a flexible, remote work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance
- Conduct QuickBooks Time audits and enforce accurate job cost tracking
- Perform daily job audits and track job-level profitability
- Lead month-end and year-end reconciliations, including journal entries
- Act as liaison with external year-end accountant
- Prepare financial reports on job profitability and overall financial health
- Ensure financial documentation is clean, organized, and audit-ready

REQUIREMENT QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation (or currently pursuing)
- Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Time
- Strong knowledge of payroll, reconciliations, and job costing
- Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with Canadian accounting standards, payroll rules, and compliance is a strong asset

ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENT
Shortlisted candidates must complete the CPB Canada Bookkeeping Test and receive a score of 80% or higher to proceed to final hiring. The company will cover the cost of this test.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Monthly salary: ?35,000 - 48,000
- 13th month pay
- Annual performance bonus

- Flexible work hours: Start time between 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
