Grant & Business Certification Specialist

We are a growing electrical services provider based in Massachusetts, and is seeking a skilled and proactive Grant & Business Certification Specialist to support our growth through strategic funding and business recognition programs.

We’re looking for someone who can assist with identifying and securing business grants and obtaining minority business certifications (such as MBE – Minority Business Enterprise) to strengthen our standing and access new opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Research and identify relevant local, state, and federal grant opportunities that support small and minority-owned businesses.
Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals tailored to our services and goals.
Guide us through the process of obtaining minority-owned business certifications (MBE and related) in Massachusetts and at the federal level.
Provide support for applications to public or private sector business assistance programs, vendor certifications, or procurement opportunities.
Maintain organized documentation and manage submission deadlines.
Collaborate with company leadership to align your efforts with our strategic business objectives.

Work Hours:

This is a part-time remote position.
Working hours should be US Time.

Requirements:

Proven experience in grant research and proposal writing.
Knowledge of MBE and other minority-owned business certification processes.
Familiarity with Massachusetts small business support systems is a strong plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet firm deadlines.
