We are looking for a skilled Content Video Editor to help turn raw footage into engaging short-form and long-form content for our brand, Dogfather of Harlem, a pet lifestyle and grooming platform featured on major networks like The Drew Barrymore Show and Revolt TV.



Job Responsibilities:

Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software

Edit long-form YouTube videos with storytelling, hooks, captions, sound effects, and transitions

Repurpose existing content for multiple platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram)

Add captions and subtitles (burned-in or optional)

Color correct and sound balance videos

Create custom thumbnails using Canva or Photoshop

Help organize content for weekly content calendars

Understand and apply viral trends and hooks in the pet/lifestyle niche



Requirements:

Must have experience editing videos for social media

Strong storytelling and pacing instincts

Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts best practices

Ability to deliver quick turnarounds (24–72 hrs depending on project)

Clear communication and ability to follow creative direction



Bonus if you have:

Experience working with pet content or lifestyle brands

Thumbnail creation skills

Social media management knowledge
