JOB OVERVIEW

Swyft Fitness and San Francisco GYROTONIC are owned by Chris and Lynn, a San Francisco-based married couple committed to building strong communities through fitness. Swyft Fitness provides group fitness classes as an amenity at apartment communities around the country, and San Francisco GYROTONIC is a boutique fitness studio in SF teaching GYROTONIC® Method, a fitness modality created originally for dance professionals but is now practiced worldwide by people of all ages and backgrounds.

We’re seeking a Senior Operations Manager, who is process and customer service-oriented, passionate about fitness, and skilled with using and learning software tools like Google Sheets, Canva, Typeform, ChatGPT, and Zapier. Huge plus if you’re also a practicing fitness instructor of some kind, whether that’s for Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Zumba, or something else.

Your responsibilities for Swyft Fitness will include:
* Creating and managing trainer schedules using Google Sheets and Deputy
* Tracking the results of classes by monitoring and managing responses to our automated class feedback form
* Collecting substitute requests for classes and filling them by staying in close communication with our network of Swyft trainers via text and email
* Working with property managers to schedule new classes and to promote them
* Launch new properties by helping property managers with promotional flyers and email copy to advertise the classes
* Prospecting for new properties by finding new properties, which have fitness centers and yoga studios, and identifying their property manager contact using ChatGPT and LinkedIn
* Creating monthly invoices for property partners

Your responsibilities for San Francisco GYROTONIC will include:
* Answering inquiries via email and text from new prospective students who have purchased intro packages or are enquiring about how to get started
* Following up with prospects and clients who haven’t visited the studio ever or in a while
* Managing trainer scheduling by collecting their availability and inputting them into Mindbody using an automated script and some manual entries
* Creating monthly invoices dance program partners

Requirements include:
* Bachelor’s Degree from 4-year university, ideally in a quantitative or analytical discipline
* Experience with interfacing with both customers and businesses via email and/or text
* Expert with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, meaning you know what vlookup is, how to create a pivot table, and how to do filtering
* Strong attention to detail and process and a love for documentation
* Strong written communication skills
* Ability to work Pacific time hours (12 pm to 8 pm)
* Experience with advanced features in Google Calendar like creating public calendars and duplicating events
* Familiarity with fitness disciplines like Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and Zumba
