???? Job Description

We are looking for a creative and reliable video editor to join our content team and bring our raw footage to life across Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You’ll work directly with a content-driven entrepreneur and mentor in the insurance industry who is building a personal brand focused on impact, leadership, and lifestyle freedom.

Your job will be to turn talking-head clips, Zoom recordings, and behind-the-scenes footage into scroll-stopping, high-performing short-form videos that build trust and drive engagement.

???? What You’ll Be Doing
• Editing 2–4 short-form videos per day (15–60 seconds)
• Adding engaging captions, cuts, transitions, hooks, emojis, music, and effects
• Repackaging one video across multiple formats/platforms (vertical for Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
• Enhancing raw clips into dynamic, branded content that drives watch time
• Pulling out golden ---------- nts from longer form recordings (Zoom calls, podcasts)
• Staying up to date with social media trends and viral video formats
• Occasionally editing long-form content (podcast, YouTube, or training)

? You’re a Fit If You…
• Are skilled in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Have a sharp eye for pacing, hooks, retention, and trends
• Understand how to make content feel authentic, not overproduced
• Can work independently, meet deadlines, and take feedback well
• Know how to make an “okay” video pop with the right cuts and captions
• Bonus: You’ve worked with coaches, influencers, or educators in personal development, business, or sales

Step 2: Choose ONE video clip from my feed that you think you can improve or remix.

Step 3: Go to YouTube and pull a clip out of my long-form content to create a reel with it

Step 4: Edit a 15–60 second sample of each in your style. Include:
• Captions (stylized, not basic)
• Hook and retention strategy
• Sound effects or music if needed

Step 5: Upload your edited sample to Google Drive, Dropbox, or YouTube (unlisted) and send me the link along with your:
• Resume or portfolio
• Editing software you use
• Why you want to work on this kind of content
