Finance Assistant – Xero, Stripe & Automations

We're looking for a sharp and reliable finance assistant who knows their way around Xero and has hands-on experience working with Australian companies.
You’ll play a key role in helping us stay on top of day-to-day finance tasks, payments, reporting, and a bit of light automation work.

What you’ll be doing:
Managing transactions and reconciliations in Xero
Handling Stripe payment reporting and reconciliation
Preparing and lodging BAS, tracking GST, and staying across compliance
Creating or improving simple automations (e.g., Zapier) to help streamline repetitive tasks
Assisting with cash flow tracking, budgets, and forecasting
Liaising with our external accountant when needed

What we’re looking for:
Solid experience using Xero (ideally 2+ years)
Previous work with Australian companies – you understand GST, BAS, and super
Comfortable using Stripe for reporting and reconciliation
Some exposure to Zapier or other automation tools – enough to build or tweak simple zaps
Bonus if you’ve worked on budgets or planning
Someone reliable, detail-oriented, and confident working independently
