A/R Specialist with AthenaHealth Expertise

We’re an orthopedic clinic based in New York looking for a reliable and experienced A/R specialist to join our remote team.

We need someone who knows AthenaHealth inside and out — especially when it comes to reporting and working on unpaid claims. Experience with Workers’ Comp (WC), No-Fault (NF), Out-of-Network (OON) billing, and New York IDR is a must.

What you’ll do:

Run and review reports in Athena to track unpaid claims
Follow up on WC, NF, and OON claims
Handle denials and work on getting payments in
Assist with NY IDR cases when needed
Keep the team updated with your progress

Who we’re looking for:

Someone with strong AthenaHealth experience, especially with A/R and reports
Knowledge of WC, NF, and OON billing processes
Familiar with NY IDR and how it works
Organized, detail-oriented, and follows through on tasks
Able to work during NY business hours
