Technical SEO Expert Wanted – Full-Time Role with US Agency

Philadelphia-based digital marketing agency is hiring a full-time Technical SEO Specialist to support our growing SEO team.

This position is for an 8-hour shift, with a minimum of 4 hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time (US).
We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and highly skilled in technical SEO.

The following qualities are required:
1. Strong technical SEO foundation
2. Ability to follow SOPs and create your own as needed
3. Excellent attention to detail and organization
4. Comfortable using SEO tools and auditing frameworks
5. Willingness to communicate clearly and consistently with our US-based team

Core Responsibilities:
• Perform technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, GSC, SEMrush, etc.
• Identify and fix issues related to crawlability, indexation, site structure, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and schema
• Monitor and resolve Google Search Console errors
• Optimize robots.txt, sitemaps, canonical tags, hreflang, redirects, and other on-site elements
• Assist with WordPress-based implementation (no dev work required)
• Provide documentation of findings and improvements
• Support the SEO Manager by providing technical insights and QA of ongoing optimizations

Experience with the following tools is strongly preferred:
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Screaming Frog
• Ahrefs or SEMrush
• PageSpeed Insights / Lighthouse
• WordPress
• Google Sheets (formulas, formatting, structured work)

Bonus skills (not required but a plus):
• Familiarity with Looker Studio
• Understanding of schema markup (manual or using tools)
• Experience with technical SEO for local businesses
• Experience using ClickUp or other project management tools
