JOB OVERVIEW

We are a small but growing Australian business specialising in boutique wine imports and wholesale distribution with a good client mix. After 12 years in the market and change of ownership one year ago, the company is not only adding new and exciting wines from different regions, but also the first craft beer range is about to be added and soon there will be spirits as well.
Further on the horizon will be our own retail platform, tasting events and more.

We are looking for a part time sales- and marketing assistant. This position is for a vibrant, energetic & dedicated individual who is committed to meet or over achieve tasks given.

We offer a 20hr per week minimum, but dependent on performance this will be increased to 30/40 hours. Starting hourly rate will be based on $400 (AUD) monthly at 40hrs a week.

This role involves amongst others:
• Looking after current clients and keeping them up to date in regards to changes of portfolio and making sure we know when they are to change their wine list.
• Targeting new clients with mail outs and personal emails and potentially phone calls.
• Keeping our CRM database up to date and constantly looking which venues are opening and which ones are closing.
• Developing your own customer data base by web search.
• Updating our website and social media platforms.
• Potentially SEO tasks.
• Researching on new wines and updating our portfolio.
• Preparing product submissions for clients
• Regular territory reporting
This position needs an excellent communicator with a real customer-focused approach to their work. They need to be fast-paced and organised, with a drive for making positive business relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients. Your vibrant and fun-loving attitude will be a welcomed and will help you push yourself to achieve strong results every day.

Requirements for this job:
