Construction Accountant

Help us create the bookkeeping systems needed for our construction business!

We are an established (since 1957!) 20-person general contractor that does private and public works projects. We also self-perform electrical work. Around 50% of our business is electrical; the other half is general contracting.

You will help us migrate payroll, AP, AR, job costing, WIP reporting, and AIA pay requisitions from manual to fully online processes in a combination of QuickBooks Online and Knowify.

The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of accounting background with experience in commercial/industrial general contracting and electrical contracting
- Experience of taking a company from manual/ad hoc processes to documented systems that are repeatable
