Remote Construction Estimator – Multifamily

Role Summary:
We are hiring a full-time remote estimator to prepare accurate takeoffs, material and labor cost estimates, and bid packages for multifamily renovations. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret architectural plans, scopes of work, and bid documents while working independently with minimal oversight. Responsibilities:

Review and interpret scopes of work, drawings, and bid packages for accuracy and completeness.

Prepare detailed takeoffs and estimates for flooring, roofing, drywall, painting, kitchens, and full rehab scopes.

Use estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and Excel to create accurate quantity and cost estimates.

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, pricing sheets, and subcontractor scopes.

Organize and update estimating templates and cost databases.

Collaborate with internal tea ---------- mbers and project managers remotely.

Meet bid deadlines and maintain organized, detailed records of all estimates.



Requirements:

3+ years of experience in U.S. construction estimating or takeoffs (Multifamily or Residential focus preferred).

Strong knowledge of finish materials, renovation scopes, and production-based pricing models particularly in multifamily housing

Proficient in estimating tools such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Fluent in English, with strong written communication skills.

Highly organized and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Able to work independently and remotely with a self-starter mindset.
