Part Time

TBD

Hi there,
I'm looking for a skilled and reliable video editor to join my faceless YouTube channel focused on documentary and top 10-style content covering action sports athletes and brands. We create long-form, highly engaging videos on topics like motocross, surfing, skateboarding, and more.
Experience in action sports (surfing, MTB, motocross, skateboarding) is a plus, but not required—what matters most is that you can match our editing style and bring energy and clarity to each video.
Here are two examples of the kind of videos we’re producing:
???? Travis Pastrana Documentary
???? DC Shoes: Rise and Fall
We’ll provide the full script and voiceover. Your role will be to:
Source matching footage (races, lifestyle clips, archival interviews, etc.)
Edit clean, story-driven visuals
Add music and interruption clips (interviews, ambient moments, etc.) to break up narration and keep viewers engaged
Maintain fast turnaround times (typically 3–5 days per video)
Use copyright-free music (must have access to a royalty-free music library)
Video Length:
Most videos are 14–18 minutes, with newer content moving into the 20–25 minute range.
Commitment:
Starting with one video per week, with the potential to move to two if we’re a good fit. This is ongoing work and could grow into a full-time role for the right person.
Requirements:
Strong editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
Ability to meet deadlines consistently
Access to royalty-free music libraries
Willingness to complete a 90–120 second paid test project to ensure style match
Good communication and attention to detail
Must have strong enough English to communicate clearly and follow direction effectively—fluency isn’t required, but you should be able to work with scripts, notes, and feedback in English without issues
Compensation:
Rate per video will depend on length and quality. The $100 listed in the budget is a placeholder—we’ll agree on a fair rate for videos up to 16 minutes, with adjusted pricing for longer projects.
To help me filter for serious applicants, please include your favorite animal at the start or end of your reply. It’s a simple way to confirm you’ve read the full job posting.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you and discuss next steps.
Thanks,
Graham
