Experienced Laravel Developer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing web applications built with the Laravel framework. This role includes deploying updates, maintaining site performance and security, and making structural changes to the application’s database.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop features using Laravel framework
• Manage and maintain staging and live environments
• Deploy site files from staging to live environment
• Modify and migrate database structure from SQLite to MySQL
• Implement security patches and monitor vulnerabilities
• Update Laravel framework and dependencies to the latest stable version
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure high-quality UI/UX

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Laravel and PHP
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development
• Experience working with both SQLite and MySQL databases
• Use version control systems (GitHub)
• Ability to manage deployments and troubleshoot server-side issues
• Familiarity with securing Laravel applications and applying patches
• Experience upgrading Laravel to newer versions

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Linux-based server environments
• Familiarity with Composer, Artisan, and Laravel ecosystem tools
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
• Prior experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines

Employment Type: Part-time / Contract (depending on arrangement)
