JOB OVERVIEW

We are a dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce company looking for an experienced Klaviyo Email Marketing Specialist to join our team on Upwork. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning, building, and optimizing email marketing flows and campaigns using Klaviyo, with a strong focus on driving revenue and improving customer retention. Responsibilities:

Plan, create, and manage automated email flows (e.g., Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Winback) in Klaviyo.

Build and deploy campaign emails for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand storytelling.

Segment audiences to deliver personalized, targeted messages that drive engagement and sales.

Collaborate with the creative team to develop on-brand email designs and copy.

Set up A/B tests to optimize subject lines, send times, content blocks, and CTAs.

Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, click rates, revenue per recipient) and suggest data-driven improvements.

Maintain and grow healthy email lists, ensuring compliance with deliverability and spam regulations.

Stay up-to-date with Klaviyo features and email marketing best practices, making proactive recommendations to improve lifecycle marketing.

Requirements:

Proven experience using Klaviyo to manage email marketing for Shopify-based e-commerce stores.

Strong understanding of email flow setup, list segmentation, and analytics inside Klaviyo.

Familiarity with e-commerce customer journeys and lifecycle stages.

Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities under tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and fix issues before launch.

Comfortable working collaboratively with design, marketing, and strategy teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands.

Copywriting skills or experience writing high-converting emails.

Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, or Photoshop for light design adjustments.

Experience with SMS marketing inside Klaviyo or similar platforms.

Understanding of deliverability best practices and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
