Social Media Video Editor (ASAP)

WE'RE HIRING: In-House Social Media Content Editor (Remote, Full-Time, Immediate Start)
Are you a CapCut wizard with a knack for turning everyday footage into scroll-stopping social content? Love storytelling, quick cuts, and a good hook? We’re looking for an in-house content editor to join our small but mighty social media team (remotely!) and help grow our clients’ brands online.

WHO ARE WE?
We’re a boutique social media agency helping entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and creators grow their brands through high-performing content. Our current clients include a business consultant (a 26 yo female founder with a 7 figure business) and—well—me, your soon-to-be manager! I’m a social media strategist and Cinematographer/Photographer creating educational and lifestyle content that’s warm and insightful ---------- YOU'LL BE EDITING:
* 14 Reels per week — a mix of 10–45 seconds long, for 2 different clients
* 1 YouTube video per week — 10–15 minutes, light editing (you'll be translating an existing video from Chinese to English with an AI language dubbing program, and making light adjustments)
* Mostly talking-head style, vlogs, and educational clips
* Emphasis on storytelling, pacing, and trend-savvy hooks for reels

TOOLS YOU'LL USE:
* CapCut (must-have)
* Premiere Pro (strongly preferred)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
* You deliver edits on time (Mon-Wed edits for Client 1, Thurs-Fri edits for Client 2)
* You take and apply feedback well
* We’ll meet weekly to review analytics and refine your editing style based on performance data
* You're excited to collaborate and grow with the process, not just pump out clips

BONUS POINTS IF YOU:
* Have an interest in business or entrepreneurial content
* Understand what makes content pop on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
* Care about pacing, flow, and retaining viewer attention from start to finish

LOGISTICS:
* IMMEDIATE START
* Fully remote
* Full-time (fixed monthly rate) (40h/week)
* Month 1 = paid trial period
* You’ll be working directly with me (no client interaction required)

COMPENSATION:
* Fixed monthly rate starting at $535 USD/mo, depending on experience
* Monthly pay
