Video Editor

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented freelance Video Editor to join our creative team on a per-project basis. Your primary responsibility will be editing short-form video content — including reels, talking head videos, and dynamic promotional clips — with a strong focus on visual polish and storytelling. You should be confident working with log footage (specifically Sony S-Log3), performing colour grading, and enhancing audio with basic sound design.

What You'll Do
Edit short-form videos (mostly for social media) with varying pacing and visual styles

Work with S-Log3 footage: apply colour correction and stylized grading

Handle sound design, including syncing, mixing dialogue, music layering, and adding SFX when needed

Deliver polished final videos ready for publishing

Communicate effectively via Slack to receive feedback and project direction

Requirements
Proficient with Final Cut Pro

Experience working with log footage (preferably Sony S-Log3)

Strong colour grading skills, including LUT application and manual grading

Solid understanding of sound design principles for digital video

Reliable internet and access to your own editing setup

Fluent in written and spoken English

Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with deadlines

Nice to Have (but not required)
Motion graphics experience (basic animation or text overlays)

Familiarity with cloud-based file transfer and feedback tools (e.g., Frame.io, Google Drive)
